Rolemaster and developing old material further

Recently, I've begun to warm up to Rolemaster (RM) again.

I started my pen & paper roleplaying hobby as a teenager with Middle Earth Role Playing system (MERP), but quickly moved into RM because of all the stuff teased by MERP material. First into RM2 but as a GM I swear to RMFRP (it'll be interesting to see how the RM Unified will fare once it's published).

Now, couple of decades later, I've played or run campaigns in Pendragon, GURPS, Ars Magica, DnD, and RuneQuest, to name a few games, but I'm always returning to Rolemaster after a while. I think this is (in addition to nostalgia) due to its moddability - I can use it to design pretty much any game I want and use it to simulate the game setting to a high detail, at least in my head.

Lately, I've been returning to old setting books of Rolemaster, particularly Shades of Darkness.

As I'm now developing this setting further in regards to locations, available professions and religions, I figured that I would like a place to publish all this. And lo, this blog was born!

I'm looking forward to finishing up material and running some games in the setting with my beloved system.
